The duo of Ryan Block and Elaine Azari formed in Oklahoma City – later making their way to Portland. Following the release of their debut 7" in 2002, Ryan focused his efforts on guitars and drums, and Elaine invested herself in keys and vocals, and the duo then recruited additional players.
